Leeds will be getting a brand-new hotel right in the heart of the city, with the confirmation that a hospitality company from the US is planning to open one.
This new venue will be owned and run by the international hotel chain Hyatt, and it could give tourism into the city a major boost.
The plan unveiled by the company is for a hotel that offers both corporate and leisure customers a luxury retreat that is still close to the amenities of the city centre.
The site that has been chosen for it is in Sovereign Square, which is very close to the city’s railway station. This will make it even more ideal for tourists coming to Leeds.
Anyone who chooses to book at the hotel will find modern rooms that are equipped with all of the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The single bed suites will all have smart TVs and kitchenettes.
If this hotel does lead to an increase in Leeds tourism numbers, the council can always turn to places that offer brochure printing. This will ensure they have brochures informing tourists of where to go during their stay.
