Line-up announced for Leeds Festival of Ideas

The organisers of the Leeds International Festival of Ideas have confirmed that the event will be taking place again in the city later in the year, and the line-up of people to appear has now been announced.

Among the first set of contributors to be confirmed for the 2023 event were the businessman Steven Bartlett, comic and writer Ruby Wax and drag artist Bimini. They will be joined by the Leeds-based author of ‘Just a Boy’ Richard McCann, celebrity chef Dame Prue Leith and television presenter Matt Baker.

The Leeds International Festival of Ideas offers those who attend it a range of discussions and lectures that cover a wide variety of subjects. Every year it attracts top artists, writers and other leading figures to share their expertise and insights.

Flyer printing from shops in Leeds is one way that upcoming events in the city like this can be promoted to people who may be interested in attending them.

One of the events at the 2023 festival will be a panel dealing with true crime that will feature McCann alongside actress Gemma Whelan and journalist Louise Shorter.

McCann stated that he felt thrilled to be invited to take part in such an interesting discussion and that he was keen to share his experiences related to the topic.

It takes place from 27th to 30th September.
