Leeds wellbeing firm receives investment

A wellbeing company in Leeds has secured a significant investment.

Leeds-based hero is a wellbeing business that uses tech. It has recently obtained an injection of £825,000. This contribution was made by Mercia Equity Finance. Investment can promote business card printing, especially if recruitment is on the cards.

Various wellbeing strategies are delivered by hero. Nutritional advice, training and coaching can be provided to clients. The recent investment should power the growth of the enterprise. The chief executive of hero, John Gaunt, told Bdaily:

“We have enjoyed a successful two years since our launch in 2018 but this funding will allow us to further enhance our products, accelerate growth and continue to build out our team.”

The financial stimulus could enable the organisation to upgrade its software. The hope is that the new money will also enable the firm to improve its marketing.

Mercia Equity Finance is run by Mercia. It is part of a fund designed to boost the economy of the Northern Powerhouse.

Mercia’s Megan Noble has commented on the future of hero. Noble pointed out that companies are paying more attention to the wellbeing of their employees than they once did. She highlighted the fact that the pandemic has accelerated this trend. From her perspective, the monitoring and measurement of the health of workers will be vital in the months to come.
