Leeds to host Shaun Ryder
Leeds-based fans of the iconic 1990s band the Happy Mondays are set to have two opportunities to see the group’s singer Shaun Ryder before the end of this year.
The Mancunian has announced that he will be visiting Leeds during the autumn for an evening of reminiscence about his colourful career. The venue for the show will be Leeds City Varieties and it is being billed as a chance for fans to hear stories about his music career and about the likes of Factory Records and the famous Hacienda nightclub that were central to the ‘Madchester’ era of the Happy Mondays.
In addition to this, the event will also feature an intimate meet and greet, while the event’s official website states that there will be special guests taking part alongside Ryder.
Furthermore, this is not the only chance fans will have to wallow in some ‘baggy’ nostalgia, as Happy Mondays are due to play a gig later this year at the O2 Academy in Leeds.
Those putting together live concerts and events such as these often turn to local printers that are able to provide high quality graphic design services, to ensure that organisers have eye-catching promotional posters.
The Happy Mondays live concert is scheduled to take place during December, while the solo event featuring Ryder will be held on 29th October.
