Leeds to host Garden Party again this summer
A hugely popular music festival will be hosted at a venue in Leeds again later this year, after its post-Covid-19 comeback last year proved a big success.
The Garden Party will return to mark its 16th anniversary and it will be hosted somewhere new in the heart of Leeds, although the actual venue is still to be announced. What has been revealed is the line-up, and music fans can look forward to the most exciting event yet, with Jon Hopkins confirmed as the headline artist.
He will be joined at the two-day festival by Skream, Denis Sulta and Hot Since 82, among others, while the local music scene will be represented by Abi Whistance and Norfn Gal. Alongside Leeds musicians, shops in the city that handle poster printing orders can support local festivals like this by helping with the promotional side.
The Garden Party debuted during 2006 and has gradually grown in size and popularity in the years since then.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Matt Long from organisers New Citizens stated that:
The festival is set to take place on April 30 and May 1.
