Leeds to get new branch of Starbucks
Leeds is set to get a new branch of the popular coffee chain Starbucks later this summer, leading to the creation of 20 jobs for people living in the city.
The location for this new Starbucks will be the Merrion Centre, which is located within the Arena Quarter in Leeds. Once it opens, there will be room inside for roughly 125 people and it will join the several existing Starbucks outlets that there are in the city, which include stores in Wellington Street, Albion Street and at the city’s railway station.
By choosing this particular site for its latest branch, Starbucks will be setting up in a locale that already offers a number of choices for eating and drinking. These include Japanese eatery Blue Sakura, Union Square, which is a US-style kitchen and bar and Pizza Express.
Food and drink venues often call on the assistance of places that supply promotional products to help them advertise. Speaking to Leeds Live, Helen Green from Town Centre Securities, the Merrion Centre owners, said:
It will open later this summer, with the date still to be announced.
