Leeds to get new al fresco events space
A sizeable new outdoor space for the hosting of live events is scheduled to launch in Leeds during the spring and an exciting roster of shows has already been announced for it.
This space will be called Canvas Yard and it will be located at City One, alongside Holbeck Village. When it opens, it will comfortably be the biggest al fresco venue for live shows in the centre of Leeds. It will host a mixture of arts and culture, sports and music events, with some already having been confirmed for the first two months.
April will see Canvas Yard hosting FAC51 Hacienda Open Air, which will feature performances from Graeme Park, Derrick Carter, Todd Terry, Dimitri from Paris and Roger Sanchez. Then the following month, it will be the venue for The Garden Party, an electronic music festival.
