Leeds set to host country music event

There is something special in store for country music fans in Leeds next year, with the confirmation that the city will be playing host to the Country Roadshow.

This event will bring both new and classic country tunes to town. It will include tributes to some of the legendary names from the genre, including the likes of Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton.

These will be balanced out by performances from many of the new up-and-coming country stars. Those who choose to attend the event are being promised a feast of live music straight out of Nashville.

The Country Roadshow is not just about the music; it will also feature a range of other activities, such as fancy dress and lessons in line dancing. The former will be helped along by the availability of cowboy hats at no extra charge.

Tickets for the event are likely to be snapped up quickly, due to country music now having a big following in the UK. Local venues can use poster printing in Leeds to advertise upcoming shows like this.

The marketing manager for the roadshow, Lee Fudge, told a local source that audiences should:
“Expect the best country party of the year, including top notch live performances from tribute acts to country music’s greatest legends.”

The venue for it will be the Royal Armouries and the date is 8 March.
