A top band hailing from Leeds have announced that they will be coming back to the city for a homecoming concert, complete with an impressive line-up of support acts.
Yard Act are going on tour to promote their brand new album, which is called ‘Where’s My Utopia?’ The UK section of the tour will see them perform in a number of locations throughout the country, but it will climax with a show in Leeds. The venue that has been selected for this concert is the Millennium Square.
The band have confirmed that the artists support them for this show are Ultimate Thunder, Fat Dog and English Teacher. All of them have been personally selected by the members of Yard Act, for what is set to be the biggest concert the band have played up to this point.
There is sure to be a lot of demand for tickets, given the band’s success and their connection to Leeds. However, the promoters of shows like this still often look to poster printing outlets to make sure people in the area know about them.
Ultimate Thunder are another group from Leeds and most of the members have disabilities. They were supported by a fundraising campaign earlier in the year, with Yard Act among those who contributed to it.
This concert is due to be held on Saturday, August 3.
