Bridge the Gap is a walk to raise cash for the organisations Romsey Mill and Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. People are now able to register to take part in the 2023 event, which will be starting and finishing at Parker’s Piece in Cambridge, but which otherwise has some new additions to the route.
The walk always takes in some of the grounds of colleges that are part of the University of Cambridge, but Newnham College grounds will be part of the route this year for the very first time.
Combining the chance to support good causes with a pleasant walk through some of the city’s beauty spots, Bridge the Gap always attracts a lot of interest. Last year, over 1,500 people chose to participate, which brought in £30,371. Flyer printing from Cambridge shops can assist in promoting charity events of this kind to ensure healthy attendances.
Sharon Allen from Arthur Rank Hospice Charity told the Cambridge Independent:
“I’m really excited about what the walk has to offer everyone who takes part this year – with previously unvisited colleges and locations, and some of the more familiar, iconic views of Cambridge.”
Bridge the Gap will take place on 10th September.
