The plan is for most of Parkside police station’s facilities to be moved to a new location outside of Cambridge, as the current premises are considered to be no longer fit for purpose. However, alongside these Plans, there will also be a new station created within the centre of the city and one of the options under consideration is for the police to share the fire station on Parkside Place.
This has been confirmed in a statement by the constabulary and Ray Bisby, the acting crime and police commissioner. It states that two public surveys had shown that people living in the city wanted a station in the centre of Cambridge.
According to the Cambridge Independent, the statement went on to say:
“Discussions are already underway on possible options – the facility at Cambridge fire station being an option. More information about the proposed location will be provided in due course.”
Local police services often use Stationery printers in the area for any official Forms that they need.
One of the other potential locations being weighed up for the new police station is believed to be Mandela House, which is currently the home of Cambridge City Council.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Plans
