This annual run helps to raise money for different charities and has become a popular fixture on the local events calendar. The partner charities for next year will be mental health organisations the Charlie Waller Trust and Mind CPSL, Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre, Macmillan, Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer’s Research UK. Would-be entrants who are connected with them have the first option on places in the event.

Speaking to the Cambridge Independent, the director of the half marathon, Adam Moffatt, stated that everyone involved was delighted that it would be returning at the usual time of the year in 2023. He then went on to say:
“Entry for 2023 is exclusively available via our charity partners until August. We will then confirm the entry process, but I would encourage everyone to sign up to our Mailing list via our website for the latest information.”
This year’s event attracted around 10,000 entrants. The Cambridge Half Marathon 2023 will be taking place on Sunday, 5th March.
