Sound & Vision is an event in East Anglia that runs for three days, but this will be the first time Cambridge has played host to it. Over 70 musical and comedy acts will be descending on the city to perform at the event, which will be staged across a number of different local venues – including The Blue Moon, Storey’s Field Centre The Boathouse, and The Junction.
The line-up of performers features both well-known and up-and-coming names, including The Charlatans lead singer Tim Burgess, and comics Mike Wozniak and Tom Ward. It is intended to help the area’s economy, as well as providing entertainment.
Sound & Vision is put together by Ruth Cousens and Adrian, her partner. Graphic Design Services in Cambridge can help those organising festivals to come up with attention-grabbing advertising Posters.
Speaking to the Cambridge Independent, Cousens said:
“My partner set up Sound & Vision in Norwich, which ran for six years up until 2017, and that was hugely successful and some bands got signed off the back of Sound & Vision Norwich.”
The Cambridge version of this festival is scheduled to take place between April 21 and 23.
