The Festival of Ideas is scheduled to take place from the middle of October. Hundreds of fascinating exhibitions, performances and events will draw in the crowds. Promotional Products from Cambridge may be useful for a wide variety of organisations and individuals. The bulk of the events are free to access and people of all ages should have their needs addressed.
Ariel Retik is the manager of the extreme festival. He is a specialist in the public engagement sector and he told the Cambridge Independent:
“The theme of this year’s festival is extremes. We’re living in an age where everything seems to be growing more extreme – whether politics, income inequality, the climate or technology – we want to explore this in its broadest sense.”
A broad range of speakers have decided to participate in the festival. The line-up includes writer James Bloodworth, Professor David Runciman, Dr Terri Apter and Baroness Valerie Amos. Debates will be an important feature of the festival. Individuals might appreciate the opportunity to discuss medical ethics or the problems associated with plastic waste.
A regular part of the Cambridge calendar, the festival has been going for more than a decade. The Centre for the Study of Human Global Movement is to be launched this time around.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
