Two outlets based in a retail park in Cambridge look set to be demolished so that a new block of offices can be erected in their place.
These changes will be taking place within the Cambridge Retail Park on Newmarket Road. The two outlets earmarked for demolition are currently home to coffee shop, Starbucks and restaurant, Pizza Hut. They will be replaced by an office block that has ‘five storeys plus one’, after Cambridge City Council chose to approve the Plans.
The developer behind the project is Railway Pension Nominees Ltd and it is promising that the completed building will make for a striking addition to the park. It also pointed out that the buildings it will replace are currently in a poor condition.
When companies start to move into new blocks of offices, they often make use of Print shops to help update their Business Cards and other professional materials to detail new addresses.
The approval given to plans for this particular set of offices is part of a larger vision for Cambridge Retail Park. The developer is hoping to carry out a widespread makeover that would turn it into a mixed-use development.
