This charity is the biggest one dedicated to researching dementia in the whole of the UK, and it has its main headquarters not far from Cambridge, at Great Abington. It has been linked with the Cambridge Half Marathon as one of its national charity partners for the past two years, but from 2022, it will be moving up to headline partner status.
The Alzheimer’s Research UK Sporting Events Manager, Kelly Holliday, told Charity Today that the organisation was particularly pleased to be assuming this role due to the fact that it is primarily based in Cambridgeshire.

The Event Director for the Cambridge Half Marathon, Adam Moffatt, stated that:

The 2022 TTP Cambridge Half Marathon is currently scheduled to take place on 6th March and will be a 13.1 mile run.
