Cambridge Folk Festival line-up announced

The annual Cambridge Folk Festival will be bringing the very best in traditional music performances to the area again later in the year. The festival’s line-up of performers for 2023 has now been confirmed.

Headline artists who will be coming to Cambridge for this event include Scottish duo The Proclaimers, acclaimed US singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright and popular 1990s hip hop group Arrested Development.

They will be joined by Angelique Kidjo, Imelda May, Kate Rusby, Lady Blackbird and the star of the hit television show ‘24 turned musician Kiefer Sutherland. There will also be an exclusive performance by legendary folk star Judy Collins and the Unity String Quartet.

The venue for the 2023 festival is set to be Cherry Hinton Hall, on the outskirts of Cambridge. Poster printing with designs relevant to the themes can be one way for the organisers of local festivals like this one to promote them throughout the region.

Speaking to the Hunts Post, a Cambridge Folk Festival spokesperson stated that announcing the line-up now would give potential attendees the chance to find out when the artists they are most interested in are performing.

This spokesperson then added:

“The 2023 festival promises to be another unforgettable weekend filled with family-friendly activities and something special to offer for all ages.”

The festival is scheduled to take place from 27th to 30th July.
