Strawberry Fair is a festival of arts and music that has been part of the summer in Cambridge since 1974 and is usually held on Midsummer Common. The 2020 event had to be cancelled because of coronavirus health concerns, but now local station Cambridge 105 has announced that it will be putting out a show celebrating the beloved festival.
This show will last for 12 hours and will look at the history of the festival by exploring some of the dramatic performances, poetry and music that have made it such a popular fixture in the city. The station is hoping bands that have played the festival in the past will take part in the radio version.

“While we won’t be able to make it to Midsummer Common we hope that our Virtual Strawberry Fair is able to give a taste of summer to Cambridge 105 Radio listeners.”
