Cambridge Carbon Footprint aims to change local economy

Cambridge Carbon Footprint (CCF) launched a sustainability initiative called Circular Cambridge recently.

Intended to run for six months, the

thrust of the policy is to encourage people in the area to see the potential of the circular economy. Various events will be held to promote the cause of sustainability. Poster printing and Logo Design can be significant when putting on a range of connected activities as a consistent message raises awareness more easily. Anne Miller, who manages The Creative Partnership, endorsed the circular economy and told Cambridge News:

“When people learn about Circular Cambridge they say - 'why haven't we done it before?' Basically - it's a win-win situations for businesses and consumers alike; creating jobs, lowering costs and tackling climate change by reducing careless waste.”

Dr Miller said that Cambridge was a suitable place for innovative ideas to achieve momentum. She added that the world has been altered by ideas developed within the city.

However, the circular economy has already gained supporters outside the UK. In South Korea, the sharing sector includes activities like reading, eating and playing. Meanwhile, the city of Amsterdam is home to forward thinking enterprises such as Fairphone and MUD Jeans.

Within the next few weeks, Cambridge should be the focus of events related to facing the challenge of climate change. The WI is prepared to help out a session involving the exchange of clothing. Further, people have been reminded that repairing items can be an effective solution.
