Damian Lewis is famous for his acting in shows such as Homeland and Band of Brothers, and his performances have landed him an OBE, CBE and Golden Globe award over the years. However, he is also a musician and songwriter, and it is in that capacity that he will be paying a visit to Cambridge, as the last stop on a short tour.
Lewis will bring his band to The Junction for a gig, and he is describing it as the ideal pick-me-up for people currently struggling with Dry January. During the summer of 2023, he released an album entitled Mission Creep, and songs from it will be performed during the show.
This tour follows on from a successful one last autumn and poster printing from Cambridge shops may be used to promote the show in the city.
Speaking to Cambridgeshire Live, Lewis said:
“Dry January at home? You’ll be itching for some live music by March. I’m here to help. Me and the band are hitting the road again in March for the Mission Creep Tour Part 2.”
They will be performing live at the Cambridge Junction theatre on Thursday, 28 March.
