Artists confirmed for Cambridge Folk Festival 2022

Some of the musicians who will play at the Cambridge Folk Festival 2022 have been confirmed by the organisers. The event is scheduled to return after being cancelled for the last two years.

One of the headline artists will be Passenger, a singer who has enjoyed chart success around the world. He won the prestigious Ivor Novello award for his hit song called ‘Let Her Go’ and this will be his third appearance at the festival. Back in 2011, he performed on The Den stage for rising artists, before returning four years later as a Stage One headliner.

He will be joined in Cambridge by cult singer Seasick Steve, who is set to play at the festival for the first time in 12 years. His career dates all the way back to the 1960s and his blend of country and blues is likely to prove a hit with audiences again.

Other big names that have been lined up are Clannad, the popular Irish folk group, who will play in the Folk Legends part of the event, and the US singer Suzanne Vega.
