Vaughan to celebrate Canada Day with outdoor festival

The city of Vaughan has announced its plans for Canada Day, including an outdoor festival with performances from big names in Canadian rock.

Vaughan’s Canada Day will be headlined by Sam Roberts Band, the multi Juno-winning rock group that have released a number of hits over their two-decade existence. There will also be additional music, dance, and other entertainment acts scheduled throughout the day, including the Kreative In Dance Styles youth performers, Samba Squad, and even a BMX Stunt Show. There will also be family-friendly activities taking place throughout the event grounds, ranging from archery and axe-throwing to video gaming stations and selfie opportunities.

The festival will also feature a market place area with approved vendors selling on-site. This will include food trucks and other food and drink vendors, providing a sample of the diverse tastes of Vaughan. Such events often use brochure printing and online media to highlight all of the activities featured, including the schedule of on-stage acts.

The city has ran this festival-style Canada Day for multiple years, often complemented by other events hosted throughout the city. The city will also be running a shuttle service to help people get to and from the park.

The 2023 edition of Vaughan’s Canada Day will take place at Boyd Conservation Park throughout the afternoon and evening of July 1.
