A day of fun is on the way for Vaughan, and it will include the return of an event that will have the whole town hopping.
The Rotary Club of Woodbridge will soon be welcoming attendees at its annual Humber River Friendship Festival, and Frog Race, and it will be on offer at Nort Johnston District Park. There will be lots of family friendly fun, and it will also show some love to local small businesses.
Those who drop by can purchase a bite to eat from one or more of the mobile food vendors, and while they enjoy their meal or snack, they can tap their toes to the live music. Carnival-style games will be on hand, and community vendors have been invited to take part as well.
One of the big draws of the day for many will be the Frog Race, and it will see 2500 plastic frogs race the Humber River. The proceeds from the activity will be donated to the function's charity of choice. A banner printing company can supply event organizers with a range of printing services, including decor for the start and finish line for an activity.
Sunday, September 6th has been set as the date for this special celebration of what makes Vaughn a great place to hang one's hat. It will begin at 12:00 pm.
