Vaughan festival targets dog lovers
A Vaughan event aimed at dog lovers will be returning this summer, as Woofapalooza bounds into town.
The festival offers access to lure and obstacle courses for the $10 entry fee, whether as part of an agility competition or just a new play experience. There will also be over 30 vendors and exhibitors offering products and services aimed at dog owners, ranging from pet food to outfits to special training services. Confirmed vendors include Dead Sea Spa Products for Pets, A+ Mobile Pet Grooming and Pret-A-Puppy. Woof-A-Palooza will also include a dog fashion show and a trick contest, with the most impressive tricks winning prizes.
The event will be held rain or shine, with owners instructed to keep their dogs under supervision at all time. Tickets for Woofapalooza will be available at the gate, but interested owners are encouraged to sign up for the lure courses in advance. Pet expos such as this, often marketed with eye-catching poster printing and social media, allow for pets and humans alike to make new friends and sample new products, and have grown in popularity along with pet ownership itself. Woofapalooza is a volunteer-run event that has been held previously in Vaughan and hopes to bring dog lovers together.
The 2023 edition of Woofapalooza will be hosted at Assembly Park in Vaughan on June 3 and 4.
