Vaughan families invited to enjoy the natural world
Families from throughout Vaughan who are interested in getting to know the natural world a little bit better are invited to an event that has been planned with them in mind.
The Family Adventure Walk in the Forest will see people come together to enjoy nature. Each will be given a map of the area, which will lead them to a variety of hands-on activities throughout the forest. They can pick up a journey stick and collect treasures as they walk and take in the beauty of the natural world around them. They can also build dens and work with clay to produce their very own pieces of wilderness art to take home with them. Stationery printers can produce maps, brochures, and other items for use during an event such as this.
There is no charge to take part in the day’s activities, but those who wish to participate are requested to RVSP ahead of time to reserve their space. They are asked to bring along a drink and a bucket or bag to hold any items they find in their explorations.
