A number of Vaughan residents who worked hard to effect a change have just received positive news regarding their area’s postal designation.
Three new subdivisions – Kleinburg Crown Estates, Impressions in the Village of Kleinburg, and Kleinburg Hills – have been told by Canada Post that they will fall under the municipal postal designation of Kleinburg instead of Woodbridge, as they were previously told.
These are all on Major Mackenzie Drive, which is just west of Highway 27. They will continue to use the Woodbridge coding for the postal code portion of their address.
The area’s homeowners welcome the change, as it is believed that it will help to preserve the property values of their houses and will allow insurance companies to provide them with accurate insurance rates that properly reflect their homes’ location. It will also help to prevent any confusion with mail delivery in the future.
When the area’s residents found out that they would fall under the Woodbridge designation, they got together and created a petition to change it to Kleinburg. At least 333 people signed the petition, and they received support for their efforts from local government.
Stationery printers can create business Letterheads and personal writing paper, address labels and other printed items with the new addresses for the residents of these subdivisions. Those who operate a home-based business can also have both traditional and digital Business Cards, as well as other promotional items, made that reflect the change.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
