Time for SantaFest in Maple
The holidays are rapidly coming upon us and the arrival of Santa Claus in Vaughan will ring in the Christmas season in this area.
The parade, coming later this month, will start at Canada's Wonderland, travel along Major Mackenzie Drive, and end at the Vaughan Civic Centre. It will feature several community groups, local businesses, marching bands, school groups, and the arrival of Santa Claus in Vaughan. The fee to enter the parade is $100, although there are grants for groups, such as school parties, to take part. Every entry will be judged before the parade begins and awards will be given for first and second place across four different categories.
Sponsorships are also available for the parade from $250 - $5,000 and sponsors at the higher range will have their company logo displayed on a banner in the parade. They will also be featured in advertising flyers for the event. It seems very likely that Vaughan printing companies will be providing these items to the organizers of the event. Any flyers that are printed can be distributed throughout the community in a variety of ways including direct mail and door-to-door delivery.
After the parade, it will be time for the kids’ favorite part as Santa's Village opens at the Maple Community Centre from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. It will feature holiday-related games and children will have the opportunity to meet Santa himself.
