The McKenzie Vaughn Hospital has received a large gift before the ground has even been broken.
Magna International presented the Exceptional Care Belongs Here campaign with a $10 million gift to help get it off to the best possible start. To thank them for their generous donation, the emergency department in the new hospital will be named Magna Emergency. It department will be 35,000 square feet in size and will likely see 75,000 people come through its doors for care every year.
A goal of $240 million has been set for the funding drive over the next few years, and it is hoped that the gift made by Magna will encourage other businesses in the area to also do their part. A company that produces Presentation Folders can Print ones that have been specially designed to be given out to potential donors. These can be filled with a variety of information that explains why their help is so important and how it will be used.
According to the company’s CEO Donald Walker, the firm is pleased to be able to lend a hand in the project, and the contribution was made on behalf of its employees who live in the local area. For his part, the president and CEO of McKenzie Health Altaf Stationwala noted that it was a very generous gesture, and it is very much appreciated.
