The Ontario Printing and Imaging Association has presented its member recipients with well earned printing awards during its latest Spring gala, held in May. Awards were presented at the Annual Excellence in Print Awards Night at St. George's Golf and Country Club this Spring.
This year’s chosen winners included a variety of local printers from the greater Toronto area, excelling in diverse categories such as sheet field and digital divisions. OPIA member entrants can send submissions directly to the OPIA for assessment and consideration during its annual gala meetings. In commenting on the quality of work judged, OPIA Chairman Mike McInnes notes the increase in quality submissions year after year, demonstrating the spirit of innovation and competition on the part of Ontario’s printing providers.
OPIA is an industry association that represents various printers and suppliers in the communications industry in Ontario. The association supports and is comprised of industry suppliers who provide machinery, Print and inks, as well as companies that provide services that involve press and bindery. In addition to providing logistical and business support to members, OPIA also has a special in-house referral service to promote the services and products of member companies such as banner printing or poster printing.
The OPIA, headquartered in Mississauga, regularly hosts meeting sessions to discuss technical aspects of the printing industry. The Association oversees topics such as legislation, technique, sales equipment and strategies related to the promotion of printing services, in addition to organizing an annual Spring gala to present members of the Association with industry achievements.Get a Free Quote for Print
