Thanks to an upcoming festival, residents of the Greater Toronto Area will be able to enjoy a taste of Hong Kong food, music and culture.
Mid-August will see the city welcome the annual Mississauga Hong Kong Festival, and it is slated for the Paramount Fine Foods Centre Sportsplex. It will be full of fun for the whole family, with lots to see, do and experience.
The activity, which bills itself as being a truly authentic experience, will include both soccer and basketball competitions, with the players coming in from across Ontario and further afield. Everyone can browse through the vendor market and try an assortment of street food and other dishes that are popular in Hong Kong. Performances have been planned, and there will be interactive activities in the works for the kids. This will be the second year the celebration has been held.
