Mississauga trade board schedules AGM for this fall

An annual general meeting (AGM) gives an organization an opportunity to wrap up its business for the year, and the Mississauga Board of Trade has planned its meeting for late this autumn.

The AGM will give the Board of Trade’s membership an opportunity to learn about its challenges and achievements throughout the past year. Board members will be acclaimed or voted in, and there will be a special keynote address given.

During the meeting, the attendees will hear the organization’s financial reports, and they will have an opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns they might have. The guest speaker will be Ellen McGregor, who is the CEO and Fielding Environmental Chair of the Mississauga Economic Recovery Group.

Admission is free for members and ambassadors of the Board of Trade, and non-members will be asked to pay $26.55 to reserve their tickets for the occasion.

During an organization’s AGM and other similar meetings, documents such as its financial reports and bylaws are usually presented to its membership and the general public to peruse. Stationery printers can prepare items like these and can bind them using methods such as comb binding.

The Mississauga Board of Trade has made arrangements to host its AGM in a virtual format on December 9th. It is scheduled to start at 8:00am.
