Mississauga to host OWHC AGM and networking event
The Ontario Workplace Health Coalition (OWHC) will be holding its yearly Annual General Meeting (AGM) and networking event in Mississauga. It has extended an invitation to all to participate.
A variety of speakers have been engaged for the day, which will include presentations on an assortment, of topics. Dr. Ian Dawe, who is the keynote speaker, will be addressing the topic of mental health in the workplace and also how businesses and organizations can support positive mental health in their employees. Following his presentation, there will be three breakout sessions that further delve into the topic, which will be facilitated by experts in the field.
A vendors’ fair will be included in the day’s activities. They will be showcasing the different wellness services that they provide. In addition to this, there will be time throughout the event for networking and sharing best practices. Wide format printing can be used to create banners, signs and other items for a function such as this.
There is no charge to take part in the AGM, and the ticket prices to attend the rest of the function are $20 for OWHC members and $40 for nonmembers. Students tickets are free, and anyone who cannot attend the event in person can opt to listen to the keynote speaker and AGM via a webinar.
