Municipal professionals who would like to make sure they are up to date with most recent developments in their field will soon be coming together for a virtual learning opportunity.
The RISE conference, which is hosted by AMCTO in Mississauga, will be celebrating 83 years of helping municipalities all across the country meet the needs of their residents. It tends to attract hundreds of delegates each year, and in 2021, it will take place online.
The three-day gathering will focus on lessons learned during 2020, and the schedule includes remarks from keynote speakers, as well as workshops and other educational and networking opportunities. Management and legislative issues are on the agenda for discussion, and along with offering an assortment of benefits for the attendees, the function will also raise money for its charity of choice, the Hospice Georgian Triangle.
Due to the pandemic, many events like this have been converted to an online format.
