A new style of restaurant aimed as those who love shellfish and other seafood is on the way for Mississauga.
L.A. Boil plans on opening two locations in the city. They will both feature lobster, crab, clams, shrimp, mussels and other seafood served at the table. No plates or utensils are used, and the shellfish is simply brought to the table, cooked in the customer’s choice of sauce. Upon arrival, it is poured on to the tabletop, which has been lined with paper, and eaten by hand. It ranges from mild to spicy, and an assortment of extras, such as corn on the cob, mushrooms and sausages can also be included.
Each customer is provided with gloves and a bib so they can keep their clothes clean while they eat. A Print company can both design and produce these bibs, as well as any other items that the restaurant requires in its daily operations. The food comes priced by the pound, and includes a choice of five sauces.
L.A. Boil Seafood West will be opening its doors at 2661 Dundas Street West, while L.A Boil Seafood East will be located at 888 Dundas St East. The exact date that they will be open to the public has not yet been released.
The two Mississauga locations will be joined by ones planned for both London and Vaughan.
