Mississauga is a city that knows how to throw a party, and everyone in the community is on the guest list for a Halloween-themed shindig scheduled for Hazel McCallion Hall.
Streetsville is one of the neighbourhoods that makes up the larger city of Mississauga, and its Spooktacular soiree will have lots of spooky fun for all ages. The activity has a run time of four hours, and it will be family friendly.
While they take in the creepy tunes supplied by local bands, the public that stops by can do some trick or treating. A face painter will be on hand to give anyone who requests one a new look, and as a costume contest will take place, everyone will have the opportunity to try their luck at winning one of the prizes.
One of the day’s activities that the organizers hope will be a big success is its costume drive. Halloween gear may be dropped off at the collection box that will be set up, and they will be donated to Armagh House, which provides a refuge for families fleeing domestic violence.
