A Mississauga online workshop will help those who have fought and won the fight against cancer to enjoy their life after illness.
A series of five sessions will help those who are starting out their post-cancer life to find new ways to thrive. It will explore how people can make the most of their lives, and Kathryn White, the facilitator, has her own personal experiences and journey to share.
During the workshop, the attendees will have a chance to discuss the various impacts cancer has had on their lives, such as surgical scars and brain fog from medications, as well as the emotional tolls it can take. They will talk about how to find positive ways of moving forward and taking back the control over their lives that they may have lost during the process of their cancer treatment. The session will encourage the group to engage in self-discovery and live their best life.
Those who administer these sorts of programs will be able to count on area brochure printing companies to provide informational materials to distribute to the participants.
The January session of the Thrive in Life: Enjoying Post Cancer Happiness workshop will begin on the 10th, and it will be held online on the Zoom platform. It will begin at 7:00 pm and wrap up at 8:30 pm.
