Late September sees the air grow chilly and the leaves begin to change to their autumn dress, and in Mississauga, it will also bring a pop-up craft market.
Maker Market Collective will be the host for a pop-up shopping experience that will feature the works of area artisans and other small businesses. There may still be space for more vendors to get involved, and the deadline to submit a request to do so is August 23rd.
The shoppers at the event will be able to browse through tables manned by at least 20 local businesses, and admission will be free. Everyone is asked to consider bringing along a generous donation of non-perishable food or funds for The Compass food bank, and raffles, prize draws and an event split are all on the agenda.
To thank members of the public for their support of the market, the first 20 through the door will receive a free swag bag. Cloth shopping Totes printed with a function’s Logo Design are a popular choice for distributing during an event like this.
The Autumn Splendor Community Market will be showcasing Mississauga maker’s creative talents on September 23rd. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, and parking will be free. The venue for the occasion will be 1338 Clarkson Road, and it can be reached using public transit.
