Mississauga is a community that values all of its citizens, and the older adults who call the city home will take pride of place in a day planned just for them.
The city will be joining others all over the world in celebrating International Day of Older Persons. A special event has been planned to mark the occasion, and it will be filled with activities likely to be of interest to the community’s older adults.
The schedule for the day opens with a flag raising ceremony at 11:00 am, and after this there will be presentations from an assortment of speakers, as well as exhibitor booths. A lunch option will be on offer, and the golfers in the crowd or those who have always wanted to give the sport a try, can stop by the host’s putting and driving ranges to learn and practice some new skills.
There are spaces for up to 120 attendees in this celebration, and RSVPs are requested. A variety of Promotional Products can be prepared for this type of function by local Print shops, and these can be offered as swag to the guests at the function.
This opportunity for Mississauga to show some appreciation to the senior residents of the community will be held on October 1. Registration for the function is free of charge.
