Mississauga market to welcome model railroad fans

Mississauga fans of model railways will be making tracks for an upcoming market.

The Lakeshore Model Railroaders Association has a long history of hosting flea markets that are filled with tracks, cars, accessories and other gear, and one of these events will be held this December. It will welcome all ages, and space at the John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre has been booked for the activity.

The pop-up market is expected to cover at least 12,000 feet of floor space, and there will be between 80 and 100 tables to browse through. Small businesses, makers and the general public are all invited to reserve display space where they can sell their items, and the price for an eight-foot table and chair, as well as light refreshments, is $45 each.

Markets that are focused on a specific hobby often attract a crowd that is ready to buy. A flyer printing company will have cost-effective options for marketing such an event to the public, and these materials tend to be easy to distribute.

This chance for model railroad fans to add to their personal collection or make some room by selling some pieces is scheduled for December 11th. It will run from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A table request form and further information can be found on the Lakeshore Model Railroaders Association website.
