A potato chip fan from Mississauga is hoping that his idea for a new flavor could make his upcoming wedding even more special.
Darryl Francispillai, took part in the 2015 Frito Lay Canada‘s “ Do Us A Flavor” contest, where the company asked the public to submit their ideas for what they think would be a new and popular potato chip flavor. Mr. Francispillai felt that the butter chicken he loves would be an ideal choice.
He submitted his idea, and it was one of four finalists that were selected from the 950,000 entries that were sent in.
People are invited to vote to decide which they feel would be the best new taste. The winner of the contest will be decided based upon the number of votes that each receives. The finalist will be given $50,000, and will receive one percent of the profits from the future sale of the flavor they came up with.
