A special event is coming up that will bring a taste of Mumbai to Mississauga in support of a local organization that helps to bring support and respect to those facing a terminal illness.
The ‘A Night in Mumbai’ gala will give those who attend a chance to enjoy the culture, food and sights of Mumbai. The host for the evening will be CBC Toronto News’s Anna-Marie Mediwake, and there will also be live musical performances, dancing and other entertainment.
A cocktail hour scheduled to start at 6:00 pm will kick off the event, with the evening program starting at 7:00 pm.
Funds raised through the gala will be used to support the programs and services offered at Heart House Hospice. The hospice serves 1,000 people each year who have received a terminal diagnosis, as well as their family and friends. Its programs are offered free of charge.
Corporations and other businesses who wish to sponsor the event will be provided with a variety of benefits depending on the level of their support, starting at $3,000. Banner printing can be used to produce a variety of decorations that include the sponsors’ logos.
The gala is set to take place on March 5th. Further information, as well as tickets and a listing of sponsorship opportunities, can be found on the A Night in Mumbai website.
