Advertising opportunities may be coming up in the city of Mississauga, since 1,335 skilled newcomers will receive news skills training after the provincial government’s recent announcement to invest $5.5m in training.
The ACCES Employment Office specializes in job placement and training for newcomers and will offer training programs that run between 3 and 5 weeks to accommodate the newcomers. The money for training will fund industry specific job skills to help internationally educated and trained workers gain credentials that are recognized in Canada.
Some of the services Mississauga ACCES will offer include training in the fields of sales and marketing, IT and supply chain logistics, and finances. Training will involve Canadian workplace culture training, as well as hands on skills essential for working in Canadian companies.
The program is designed to build a connection between newcomers and give them the confidence and skills needed to establish rapports with Canadian employers. Graduates of the program have found that the bridge training has been very successful in helping to secure employment, and learning about workplace cultures and Canadian regulations.
With the announcement that another $29.5m will be spent in bridge programs in Ontario, Print companies will have a plethora of upcoming opportunities to promote the new skills training programs. The federal government is also expected to contribute another $22m in funds to the 70 bridge programs across the province of Ontario.
Some of the advertising could come through brochure and flyer printing in different educational and immigration centres catering to newcomers across Ontario. Printed paraphernalia will also doubtlessly be available at ACCES Canada.Get a Free Quote for Print
