The daylong workshop will centre around making wigs that use a sewing machine instead of glue. All lace frontal and wefts will be used, and the students will learn how to correctly place the weft when they are creating a piece.
The syllabus for the class includes several topics, and one that will be taught will be how to take measurements of a client’s head and then transfer these to the wig block they will be using. They will also discover how to make it easier to place the elastic band in the right place, how to create a customized front hairline, and also how to ensure that the front area of the wigs they craft will lie flat.
