Yoga enthusiasts, as well as those who were new to the practice or wanted to try it out, were recently invited to take part in a potentially record-breaking event in Mississauga’s Celebration Square.
It was expected that the yoga gathering could be the biggest one ever in Ontario, with as many as 2,000 potentially showing up for the activities, which were intended to help celebrate both Father’s Day and International Yoga Day rolled into one.
Once registration was completed on Sunday, the morning was scheduled to kick off with a movie that gave people information about yoga and a history of the practice. After that, along with the exercising, there was to be a program to give the participants more insights into Indian culture. Banner printing firms could have produced colorful Signs and decorations for the celebration, which might have helped to build the sense of excitement in those who took part. They could have also created a range of promotional materials to spread the word about the festivities.
The event was scheduled to start at 9am on Sunday, June 21st. The organizers were encouraging anyone interested, especially fathers, to come and take part. The day was also marked in as many as 177 different nations around the world, as part of the very first International Day of Yoga.Get a Free Quote for Signs
