Festival will bring street performers from all over the world

The Port Credit BuskerFest is being held over three days this August.

There are expected to be over 40 professional buskers from all over the world; some of those confirmed include Billy Kidd from the UK, Flame OZ from Australia, Yosuke Ikeda from Japan, and Silver Elvis from Toronto, Ontario. Performances will be divided into eight staging areas or pitches. There will also be four fire shows and an international music pitch. Visitors can also take a free workshop at the Busker Academy in skills such as juggling, stilt walking, and balloon twisting.

Vendors will also be on hand to sell food, beverages, merchandise, and arts and crafts. For the children, there will be inflatables to play on.

The festival will end with the ‘Xtreme Finale’, which will feature all of this year's buskers in one show.

Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help with the set-up and take-down process, or to act as ambassadors.

This event should attract visitors from all over the area, including nearby Mississauga. Organizers may have invested in flyer printing services to advertise it locally.

The Port Credit BuskerFest is taking place in the downtown area from August 15th to 17th. Admission is free, although tips for the entertainers are suggested. To learn more about this festival, visit the official event website.
