Working in the kitchen teaches kids skills that go beyond just food preparation, and a four-day camp will help them to get started with baking.
Cooksmart has made arrangements to host an online camp for Mississauga, and parents can opt to register their child for just one day or all five sessions. To make sure everyone has the supplies needed to follow along, lists will be sent out ahead of the activity, and the organizers have explained that they have chosen recipes with common ingredients that are easy to find.
Whether a child has experience in the kitchen or has never baked before, this camp will offer the opportunity to learn new skills and have fun. They will learn how to read a recipe, how to get the ingredients prepped for use, how to measure ingredients and they will get to try out the baking process. Both sweet and savoury fare will be included.
Even though an event like this may take place virtually, it can still benefit from having printed marketing materials, which can be ordered from a company that offers printing services.
The Busy Bakers virtual summer camp will begin on July 5th, and the final date has been set for July 9th. More details, as well as a quick registration link, can be found on the Cooksmart website.
