Traditional festival returns to London this fall

Oktoberfest is coming back to London next month for five days.

Communities around the world celebrate German culture for several days every October. Some of the largest celebrations take place in the United States and Canada.

The festival is set to feature German cultural performances from groups like the Chardon Polka Band and the Saxonia Hall Dancers. There will be lots of traditional German foods, lots of beer and daily keg tappings. In addition, several family-friendly activities will take place, including a photo booth.

Of course, music will entertain the crowds. One of the most popular events of the festival is sure to be Rock the Festhalle, which will take place on October 13 from 5:00 pm and continue after midnight. It will feature Tom Cochrane with Red Rider and Big Sugar. Guests will be able to enjoy food and drink while they enjoy the musical performances.

This event is restricted to those aged 19 and older. No doubt it will attract lots of people from the London area. To help spread the word, organizers might distribute Flyers throughout the city.

Oktoberfest will be held at the Metroland Media Agriplex on October 7 to 8 and 13 to 15 from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am each day. General admission tickets are $15 and VIP are $75, and the VIP tickets include admission for two, two hats, food and beer. Call 519-438-7203 x0 for more information.
