The Heatwave Hot Sauce Expo will be returning to London this February for its 8th edition, showcasing spicy sauces from across the country.
The expo will feature hot sauces from a variety of manufacturers, with intensity ranging from mild to extreme and a range of flavours. Attendees can receive free samples and purchase food to try the sauces on, with chicken and vegan wings featured. Participating companies include Dawson’s Hot Sauce, The Botany Alchemist, and Oil Town Brewing Company, as well as local London establishments like Oceanspice Co and Gratzy’s BBQ Dipping Sauce. Vendors at events like this often offer sales or Promotional Products to make sure new and returning customers take home a bottle.
In addition to the marketplace, there will be a number of contests in the festival’s Ring of Fire. Contestants from nearby areas like London North as well as further afield will compete to show that they can handle the spice, with the full schedule including events such as tag team speed eating, ginger beer drinking, and a chili pepper eating competition. The sauces will also be competing to win the coveted Eternal Flame Awards. Awards are given in each intensity category as well as for qualities like Favourite Label, Most Unique, and Spicy Snack.
The 2025 Heatwave Hot Sauce Expo will take place on February 22 at Centennial Hall in London.
