Month-long event to highlight London North food
The Londonlicious food festival will be returning this summer, showcasing some of the city’s top restaurants over the course of a month.
Londonlicious will see restaurants in London North and other areas offering special menus and meals. Participating establishments include Craft Farmacy, Garlic’s of London, and Bear & Frankie’s. Participating restaurant menus will be revealed online in the lead up to the event. Chefs at the restaurants will also record videos and post recipes so that foodies can try to recreate the dishes at home.
The festival was restarted in 2023, with its mission statement expressing:
Londonlicious is associated with the Growing Chefs charity, which provides culinary education to children and families throughout the London area. The event also provides giveaways through social media to let curious eaters dine for free. Food events like this have become a popular way to encourage shopping local, with flyer printing and social media often used in areas like London North to raise awareness.
