The Delaware Speedway will be hosting a Monster Truck Throwdown later this month.
The trucks will make their first appearance at the speedway on Saturday, July 22nd, with a second show scheduled for Sunday, July 23rd. Delaware Speedway is hosting these special shows for the first time in its history.
The shows will include some of the highest rated monster truck drivers and machines in the industry. Ontario’s own Bucking Bronco, as seen on Dragons’ Den, will be up against the two-time freestyle world champion team Avenger and the 2015 winning team Overkill Evolution. Bigfoot, Brutus and Black Stallion will be other supersize vehicles making appearances at the shows.
Saturday’s show will begin at 7:00 pm, with an afternoon start on Sunday at 3:00 pm. There will also be an opportunity to check out the trucks up close before the start of the shows. The speedway has announcers to keep fans informed, but the raceway also uses printing services to provide free programs, Brochures and driver rosters.
The Delaware Speedway is located at 1640 Gideon Drive, just west of London. The facility features an oval stock car race track, with about half a mile of paved surface.
